Recovering from Mistakes and Cleaning Up

These are a few of the things you can do.

1. You can use "undo", which is in the navigation bar. Clicking there will show you everything you've done recently. You can decide how far back to undo.

2. If you've created a new item and decide you don't want it, you can delete it. Click on the "Contents" tab of the navigation bar and you should see a list of items that are in the folder you 're in.  You can select one or more items and then click on the "delete" button.

3. If all else fails, contact the "Content Owner" by clicking in the "site contacts" portlet.

Note: If you canceled in the middle of adding a new file, you will have created the "empty shell" of a file object. Later on, if you click on its link to download it your browser might hang. You should definitely delete those empty files.
