- The Earth Science Data Systems (ESDS) Standards Process was developed by a "Strategy for Evolution of ESE Data Systems" (SEEDS) study. This document provides an overview of the assumptions, motivations and desired results and impacts of the process. These factors were identified by the SEEDS Standards Proces Study and went into the design of the Earth Science Data Systems SPG.
