Peer-Recognition Award Deadline Extended
The Software Reuse WG has decided to extend the deadline for accepting nominations for its Reuse Peer-Recognition Award. Nominations are now due August 31.
Reuse Session at 2008 AGU Fall Meeting
We encourage people with reuse experiences to present their work in a general contribution to the 2008 AGU Fall Meeting session IN16, Challenges for Earth Science Software Reuse, sponsored by the Working Group. The abstract submission deadline is September 10, 2008.
Proposed Reuse Session at ESIP Summer Meeting
The Software Reuse Working Group has proposed an open meeting session for Thursday, July 17 during the ESIP Federation Summer Meeting to discuss "Cross-Agency Reuse and Reuse Collaborations".
Reuse WG Peer-Recognition Award
The WG has created a new peer-recognition award and uploaded a file with the description, nomination form, and process information to the Resources, Awards section of the web site. Nominations for this new award are now being accepted.

6th ESDS WG Meeting Reuse Materials Posted

Draft Agenda for 6th Joint ESDS Working Group Meeting Available
The 6th Joint Earth Science Data Systems (ESDS) Working Group Meeting will be held Oct. 23-25, 2007, at the Sheraton University City Hotel in Philadelphia, PA.
Prototype Internal NASA Reuse Enablement System in Development
We are currently working on the prototype of a Reuse Enablement System (RES) that will help NASA share reusable Earth science software assets within NASA. We are planning to have this prototype ready for internal NASA use in the spring of 2008. Please contact us if you are interested in providing software for the system.
